Pre-death experience??
people say when you experience pre-death experience everything around you comes in slow motion. You see that you will hit something, at high speed, and the road is slippery. you know that you will definitely hit hit the thing. but although you move in high speed towards the thing you gonna hit, everything around you slows down, loosing its speed. what will you think during that short time. i will let you figure it out.
Friday night 8 October 2010. A car crashed onto a yellow Lancer at traffic light inter-junction between benson Rd and coronation drive. The yellow lancer that was on Red light slowly make a turn to benson Rd. while a blue mirage coming from the opposite site failed to stop and bumped onto the yellow lancer. The front passenger seat suffered severe damage. innalillahi wainnalillahi rajiuun.

Shuhada come on!!!
Last saturday bro musa'ab approached me to ask me whether i can help him teaching the malay kid tomorrow. Musaab you approach me on a wrong time. But he insisted. then i said
" ok kalau macam tu bolehlah bolehlah. but i'm going to be strict on them. I'm very particular about makhraj ok. just hope they can bear with me. tapi if you can get another person, it's better. I don't think i'm in a good mood to teach."
Many things upset me throughout the week that i had to endure. The most of it was being scolded by shaykh Abu abdillah. i still remember that sunday morning i wanted to check my memorisation with syaikh abu abdillah. I started reciting and he frequently stopped me because i pronounced the letter wrongly. He said i have to stop memorising and learn way to pronounce the letters properly, particularly mustaqim not mustakim (surah fatihah). after that day i never come to his class anymore and abu jaabir also said that Abu abdillah method of teaching is strict but it's good. Ya i can tell it's good in a way. although i dont go anymore to lutwyche (Because i dont have time) after that i try to learn how to pronounce the makraj properly with one hafiz from saudi, bro abdul rahman. Alhamdulillah I'm not saying my pronunciation is perfect but at least i'm better than some arabs. I recited surah fatihah to abu abdillah on his last day at lutwyche. He approved that my mustaqim pronunciation is correct alhamdulillah.
That's why from experience above, i'm very very angry with my ustadz in malaysia who did not emphasis much on pronunciation (Just joking- i glad to learn from You imam Kamarul zaman). if i was corrected from before, i dont have to be such in tense situation. That's why i told musaab i will be strict on those kids so they will not end up like me.
second thing that upset me on that day because i lost my only bicycle. actually when i realised that my bicylce was stolen, i dont feel really sad. just like "aik hilang pulak basikal aku". then i just went home by walking and then went to amyn centre. At amyn centre the tense increase because i started to ask myself
" Hey falihin shouldnt you be sad? You have lost something really important to you!!!".
then the tense keep coming on and i feel sad. Shaykh aslam approached me.
"Why you look so sad bro falihin." he asked. i just say i was just tired and we then talk about something else. when we about to finish i asked him
"Shaykh when we lost somthing what should we do?".
He smiled and said "say innaillahiwainnalillah hirajiuun.Allahumma'jurni fi musibati waflufli khayran minha. May Allah take away your musibah and replace it with something better." It relieved me a bit.
So the next day i came to the class. even though i still upset but when i look at those innocent kids. I just laugh hahaha.i was a bit strict but not something that i imagined (angry face and so on). a session with aiman was easy. then a new student came. Shuhada and faris.
one of my comrades taught faris while shuhada was left with me. I tried to speak to her in english (because other kids speak english)and my friend interrupt me saying she dont understand english. then i said ok.... i talk to her in bahasa melayu. still dont have any respond. i tried to open the iqra book and starts reciting. but she looked afraid and dont really pay attention. i lost my patient actually. but i still have the sabr.so accidentally i said to her in english to repeat the word after me.
Ops she dont know english. she was blurred. aiman interrupted.
"apalah tak pandai english. bukan susah pun nak paham english" he said to shuhada.
It felt that i want to lempang this boy.I remember when i was in standard one. same thing happened. Couldnt remember his name right now. One boy mocking at me saying i'm dumb because i cannot read. And as usual, if someone start mocking at you others will follow. I jump my fist straight to his face.
But this was not the case for shuhada. she felt sad. i know from looking at her face. I tried my new evolutionary method of teaching iqra on her
"shuhada cuba baca ni a'a " while my i put my hand on my head. she laughed.
"ni pulak ba. macam bentuk ni". i smiled. she laughed.
And only after i relate the letters with something like ta ada dua mata. then she showed some focus. Hey this case same as dyslexia. boring lesson because the teacher is boring. after the class shuhada was really friendly to me only and called me cikgu haha. I learned something from her. Kids, they know how to tickle you even when you are really upset. Unfortunately, the real ustazah is coming tomorrw so i'm not going to see shauhada and faris again.Hope they're ok and someday when i meet them, they able to speak english. i dont expct them to speak. even i learned to speak english 2 years ago, so inshaAllah they will. i Know budak kampung like shuhada, faris and me are at disadvantage.but how long we are going to be in disadvantage? so we need to change the notion.
Allah says "verily along with hardship is relief" surah 94.
last year one friend told me that she was really sad. i told her this doa "O Allah there is no ease other that what you've made easy. if you please ease sorrow." i still can see, she still keep the dua' on her facebook's info. May be it's a reminder for me.

what's that called?
Bismillah
Scene 1
2 weeks ago was the first time i met with maryam. It was after maghrib i met Uncle Yusuf european at burandah mosque. He looked tired. Tired because of long journey and had to take care of his grandchildren.
After salatul magrib i greet him, bilal and maryam. I asked him what made him came all the way down to brisbane. He said he went to visit a friend and stopped by to pray magrib before heading towards woodridge. Bilal was whining and I cheered him up.I already know bilal from before but not maryam. This was the first time i chatted with maryam. Uncle yosuf asked me to look after maryam while he performing the nawafil salah.
I felt pity since he pretty looked tired and i agreed. Although i actually not good with kids, as per se talking with kids.... I pray to Allah to give me an idea to entertain her. At least in this short time she can benefit something from me.
" Maryam, do you know alif ba ta?" She nodded.
"Can you recite it to me?"
She recited it happily with a very beautiful smiles. I corrected her when she did a mistake and she learned new words from me. Looking at smiles on her face made me forget about my sadness and stress. what a beautiful Allah's creation.
Scene 2
Every saturday i am the person in duty for AMYN library. But during this day, kids class is also held. Never cross in my mind to teach these kids and if someone asked me to teach, i will just say " I have a library to finish"
Actually it was just my lame excuse. I'm not 'fit' to teach. Fit in term of knowledge. I might know about many things but when something to do with educating Children (even this is not malaysian children), Dont even try to count on me.
But by Allah wills, one day Shaykh abu abdul aziz asked me to teach a group of children IQRA. At first i refused but looking at his circumstances i said yes.
Take note i'm not teaching normal kids. these are 'special' kids. These kid dont even know how to read fatihah (some does) and really obsessed with break dance!
I categorised these kids as slow learner.they dont have any motivation and they dont want to learn to read Iqra.I actually dont really know what to do with these kids.
But when i ponder back during my childhood. I was in their shoes. Being secluded from the class because needing a 'special' treatment in reading and writing. during that time i also dont even care about reading and writing and both of them were the toughest things for me.During my primary school one teacher even said to me that i would not succeed in my life (I take it as a positive provocation to motivate me more.Alhamdulillah Allah gives me a good mom that helps me with extra support in my learning.
Recently I read many article about learning behaviour and got to know that this kind of behaviour is called dyslexia. It's a learning disability not actually affecting IQ (wIKIPEDIA- not a good source, ok i did read some books)
So when i compare with what these children are experiencing, the symptoms of dyslexia is prevalent on them. They dont like to read, writing a word upside down and always daydreaming about breakdance (Some of them not all. the others may need some boosters).
I changed my teaching method for last week's class. instead of Input (reading) without output, i put a video ticket as the output. they like braekdance so much, so i gave them breakdance.Don worry i chose the one with decent clothing of course.
Alhamdulillah it works. The conclusion is I'm not fit to be a teacher. nah...actually i have a message to all teachers in malaysia. please dioagnose your student for dyslexia.they may be a lazy student but they just need extra efforts in everything. and to do that they need your support.
To sum up
I don't know what to sum up because everyone gets different view point from situations above. For me that's what i called love. love is when you happy to give and receive(Whether what you may receive is good or bad you still happy). And those teachers out there (Everyone who teach is a teacher) be happy, you have this love quality IN YOU.
Finally i would like to wish happy engagement for those who will getting engage soon.
For those who's going to get married, barakallahufeekum.
For those who planning to get a divorce. please dont do that.
Spread the love to the world......Halal way yo

It may be because of our own sins
Bismillah.Alhamdulillah wa sollatiwasala wa a'la Rasulillah.
In organisation, you cannot avoid from being involved in politics and people perception. In reality something that you think's good might not that idea along with other people.
I'm a bit sad after thinking that how careful the work of the devil can cause a chaos only by a simple trigger. This is when all the knowledges that we learn are put into test. It's also a good time to ponder upon ourself. To assess back our deeds and whether we are doing them in order to gain this worthless life or for the hereafter.
The prophet said" If this world is equivalent to the wing of mosquito, Allah will not give the kuffar a drink of water out of it." Tirmidhi SAHIH
This is the reality of the world. It's worthless. That is why we can see the Kafirunn are being given by Allah every luxury in this world.
I pray to Allah that people who are involve in this fitnah remain steadfast in this work of da'wa and have sabr when dealing with people who have a disease in their heart.
I ask Allah to forgive every sins that we did openly and secretly and may Allah shower His mercy and His rahmah upon all the muslims and retain our heart upon his guidance.

Islam is regional or Lil a'lamin?
Bismillah
Yesterday i went for a briefing of new islamic centre in town. I came late to the talk because i had to meet my friend who were flying back to malaysia for good.
Here are my comments
1. Establishing an imam for a community who can guide and give advice to muslim community about islam is one of the Noble acts.
2. But establishing islam based on narrow interpretation as they say based on nusantara's interpretation is one of deviations in islam.
3. Islam is not only for malay. islam is for all.If the religion cannot cater for the needs of every people on the earth. It's not a true religion.
4. Why no one have in their mind some backbone to ask, to clarify, or to deny. I hope they deny it in their heart.
5. I'm ok being a bad boy as a long as i know i stand by my principles (Quran and sunnah)
6. Muslim is a minority community in brisbane. why must minoritize this community even more?
May Allah Guide us and guide them.
I'm out from this fitnah.

Do you know what is islam?
This is a reminder to myself also.
People always take religion as a spiritual enrichment and when they are doing a normal daily life, they indeed dont follow the guidelines set in their book of intruction ie. Quran, Injil and torah.
i've been mingled with non-muslims since i arrived in brisbane. I've friends who is a christian youth minister, a devoted hindu and atheist. as far as i can remember there is no question about religion raised by them relating to their religion. As in my case,as a muslim i cannot separate my life with myreligion. A simple example is my appearance. I've a beard!!! so they started asking me why i'm having a beard. is it just a fashion?
"You should have a shave mate" John once suggested to me.
what should i answer then. In fact, i will answer the question from the islamic perspective. to make my argument more concrete i quote the bible if the questioner is a christian.
Even in case of appearance itself one muslim cannot separate himself from the religion (Islam, let alone to separate a larger worldly matter from Islam).
Quran is the manual and all the answers lies in it. Sunnah is the implementation of the manual (an explanation). From the quran and sunnah we know how we going to lead our life, how to know a girl that we intended to marry, how we deal with financial transaction and many more.
The day ones separates himself from Islam, on that day also he will diverted from the truth. The Messenger is one and through him the message came (islam). why then seek to assimilate islam with other culture? is islam is not enough. or indeed you are the one who doesnt know what islam is?
Try to ask a muslim " do you know what is islam?"
How many muslim can explain what islam is? how many muslim can pinpoint the evidence to the non muslim on what we are believing?
WHAT'S YOUR EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT WHAT YOU ARE BELIEVING IN (ISLAM)???
ARE YOU REALLY A MUSLIM
if you dont know, start now... nothing is too late until it's really a too late (Yakiin)

Bahaya hadith palsu
This is my reply to one status on facebook
just wanted to share. from book entitle fake pearls
Contohnya Ucapan-ucapan seperti ni
"If it is not for women, Allah would have been worshipped in a manner deserving of Worship, deserving of worship" (fabricated)
"If not for women, men would have entered paradise (without any difficulty)" (Maudu'=palsu)
Cubalah katakan 2 ayat diatas ni Kita sandarkan pada Rasulullah
Cuba baca betul2.
“Whoever is tested with daughters and treats them well, they will be for him a shield against the Fire of Hell.” [sahih bukhari]
“Whoever has three daughters, and shelters them, bearing their joys and sorrows with patience, Allah (Subhanahu wa ta’ala) will admit him to Paradise by virtue of his compassion towards them.” A man asked, “What if he has only two, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Even if they are only two.” Another man asked, “What if he has only one, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “Even if he has only one.” [Ahmad and Al-hakim]
It is reported by Abu Huraira (R.A.) that someone asked the Prophet who should be given preference in good treatment. He replied: “The mother”. The inquirer asked: Who else?” He again replied: “The mother”. After mentioning the mother thrice he said: “The father”. (Bukhari and Muslim)
Akhirnya kalau masih ingat hadith yang mengatakan tentang sadaqah, even menyutubuhi isteri pun dikira sadaqah. pahala=syurga.
the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “In the intimacy of any one of you there is charity.” They said, “O Messenger of Allaah, if any one of us fulfils his desire will there be reward for him in that?” He said, “Do you not see that if he does it in a haraam way, that will be a sin on him? So if he does it in a halaal way, he will be rewarded for that.” (Narrated by Muslim, 1006, from the hadeeth of Abu Dharr)

How complex is this feeling
" And among his sign is this, that he created for you mates from among yourselves, that you may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your [hearts]...." Quran 30:21
" It is He who created you from a single person and He has created from him zaujah (wife) in order that he might enjoy living with her"
"...Verily, in that indeed signs for people who reflect" (Quran 30:21)
Just recently I noticed the important of this ayaaat. It's true when Muallim Yusuf said that ' teach your kid to memorise the quran before he reach adolescence. Your kid dont have to understand the quran (In the sense reflecting on its meaning). This process (Reflecting) will come automatically as he getting older."
We considered as lucky to embrace islam as our religion. This is because in so many ways, the examples shown by the prophet are practical in our life situation. Before this, i never had the chance to read about hadith of the prophet but i done lot of thinking about the complexity of the relationship between men and women.
I never realise that the answers all lies in the quran and the hadith of the Prophet SAW. Indeed it is true that the women are trials to the men. The Prophet SAW said " I have not left behind me any fitnah (trials/temptation)more harmful to men than Women.(Sahih bukhari no 5096)
First of all, let us men not be too Naive and blame the women when we commit sins. Women are the beautiful creation of Allah that Allah has assigned men as their PROTECTORS and MAINTAINERS. As Allah said in the quran
" Men are protectors and maintainers (qawwaamoon) of women, because Allah has given the one more than the other, and because they support them from their means..." Quran 4:34)
Thus man should be strong and willing to learn the knowledge of the religion in order for them to be a real protector and maintainers to this beautiful creation of Allah.
Since last year I always asked ismail whether he has any books that i can read to understand how a man should treat a woman who is not his mahram. Unfortunately, no such books available and he asked me to ask syaikh aslam. But I postponed the question because there was not such an immediate needs for that during that time.
Luckily the issue comes again this year as i have to communicate with women for da'wah purposes. Women need to know we men are easily attracted to them. Although the attractiveness might differ because of different influences. As narrated by the Prophet SAW.
"If anyone of you is attracted to a woman, let him go to his wife and have intercourse with her, for that will calm him down" [sahih Muslim]
And there is one ahadith that is more clear, but i only will give it upon request (Because i'm a bid lazy to translate that hadith).
Referring back to the ayat quran above "...so that you may dwell tranquility in them...".Even for a married man, he has this kind of feeling and what more can you aspect from a bachelor like us?
Tranquility is the main point stressed by the Allah. I did ask some unmarried people what make them feel uneasy (not attaining tranquility) when dealing with women. They said (including me), " we have a feeling to act in our best manner and to talk to our best manner in front of woman. we try to show that we able to be someone the woman can admire. We control our handsomeness and 'macho'ness in order to attract her attention."
And continues as " But the thing that bother us, we might today meet one girl and pretend to be good in front of her today. But later on , we might me another girl and try to do the same thing over and over again- and there is no tranquility in doing that. because there is no security. Today you might like that girl but tomorrow you might like other girl."
From here we must realise the importance of marriage. Because when you get married, you only concentrating your emotion, your sweet talking and your feelings towards your wife. And you dont have to be in dilemma waiting and thinking whether you will get the same reply.
Because definitely, she will surely reply back the favour and love without doubt. But for those who not yet married, there will be uncertainties lingering in their mind.Ask yourself honestly.
I'm now surrounded by newly married couples.when I ask brothers who not married yet about what's their criteria when choosing a wife. without doubt they will say religion." she must be religious, know how to cook, pretty and etc."
But some discussions with the married couples given me another perspective.I asked abu jabir, abu ayash, abu ayoub and others and i came to a conclusion.
Your wife to be is a reflection of yourself. If you are the obedient servant to Allah you will get a righteous wife. If you just average, you will get average and so and so. The logic is, will a religious girl be interested to someone who doesnt interest her. (The word interest is used because what the girl like is really subjective).
" impure women are for impure men, and impure man are for impure women. And women of purity is for men of purity, and men of purity is for women of purity "24:26
A popular verse that everyone should know by now.
Yesterday Abu jaabir said something that really beautiful " This life is about making hasanat in order to see your investment in the hereafter."
As for the fitnah, syaikh aslam said, the youths nowadays are being exposed to so many fitnah. That is why they should come to learn the gathering of ilm. Then he quote the hadith that angels will surround any ilm gathering and asking Allah to forgive our sin. I think it's quite a popular hadith.
Anyhow. still learning about the barrier that i should keep between me and the non mahram. as for now strickly no talking (unless important) and no looking.
need to learn more about this religion.May Allah guides us all

I love the prophet. do you?
It's hard to change the mindset muslims unless they are the one who want to change. When we try to convey the truth (with the best hikmah) they going to claim as impolite, harsh, wahabbis and so on. Emotions always camouflage the truth, while intellectual will precede falsehood. So dont be so emotional for my following statement. I just want to put this as short and simple (the 2s prinsiple; also can be short and sweet)
Brothers and sisters,
there are 4 types of hadith, sahih (authentic), hasan (fair), daeef (weak) and maudu'(fabricated). So not all hadiths that you found are going to be authentic.dont be so lame saying that " this is a saying of the prophet and Allah will protect this. no maudu' hadith whatsoever".
So why imam bukhari, imam muslim tried really hard to identify which hadith is sahih and which is not. How do you know people wont invented any saying and attributed that to Muhammmad SAW?
Allah say We have sent down the Reminder, and We will preserve it. (Al-Hijr 15: 9)
Imam sayuti Rahimullah said that, Allah will protect the quran and he also will protect the one that explain it (HADITH).The science of hadith authentication is one of the rahmah from Allah to preserve the saying of beloved prophet that I love.

Lost
it's not easy to change.I still remember when i was in primary school i changed from a naughty boy to a 'pious' one. i used to bully lot sa people when i was in standard 1. Entering standard 2 i started to change my attitude after botakkan my head. I started to wear a songkok to school and since that day i became a good boy.
But still bring pious only on name, but not in knowledge per se, give a lot of disadvantage for me. The hardest part that I had to do this by myself. At that time i received no support at all.
I used to be a lazy student. in exam i always got low marks and even my teacher once said that i will not succeed in life (may be she said this to me after i lied to her.The terrible 1999 tragedy.life during that time as no one love me anymore.my bad)
One program organised by former semenda senior changed my perspective. I used to be the last in the rangking climbed to top ranking.
I used to have good motivation before. But presently, I am confused about myself.i'm thinking a lot lately.I feel sad, feel zero.
many people said they want to be like me, know many stuff, lead many projects. But actually they have something that i dont. And should i be ....
hmmmm......
sesaknya.

Same rhythm keeps repeating itself
Have you ever try to reminisce about your past? and did you notice a pattern?
Dr. Aid al qarni in his famous book "La TAHZAN" said that ones should not think about the past because it will cause sad and grieve. But sometimes in my opinion there is nothing wrong when you want to tell about history so that no one will repeat the same mistake.Because this is the attitude of a muslim; he will try his best to avoid doing the same mistake over and over again.
So let's get back to the pattern. I have observed this pattern for quite a time (throughout my life time)and I kind of appreciating it now i guess.
Before I continue, i would like to ask a question. is that true that this life is so hard? For me if you ask me that question during my hard time, i will definitely say yes. But if you ask me during a right time; such as on a day i'm getting married, without hesitation i will say no. Life is so happily ever Here-after (AFTER you died of course aka paradise).
This concept explicitly explained by Allah in the glorious Quran " Verily with every hardship comes ease"[94:5]
when actually we remember this verse or ever want to Quote this verse on our fb status or ym status?
For me if i'm sad i will remember this verse and i will forget it (the verse) when i'm not sad. This humane. No one is perfect and not even me.
One friend once prayed for me to ask Allah to make me more mature. you know what's in my mind when i read his/her statement?
"what on heaven she/he thinks of. I'm not mature Enough!!!"
Well until now i dont know what's his/her definition of mature. Mature is so subjective so although i was angry with that kind of prayer of her/his but now i think i started to appreciate the prayer.
Talking about prayer there is a good lecture by Abu Ammar YASIR qadhi on youtube. ask Allah anything and Allah will surely grant it.Even when ummu-mu'minin Aisyah R.A saw a man with a snapped shoes (Tali kasut terputus apa nak cakap yerk), she said to that guy to ask Allah to replace the rope of the shoes.
In order to get close to Allah you should frequently ask HIM.
There is one sister that always asking me to pray for her so that Allah makes easy for her to continue her Phd. So far Alhadulillah she is so near to her target.
Last summer for example when i was set up the library, i Always looked at my clock to see whether it's already lunch time. Sometimes i bring my own lunch but sometimes I was not that free to prepare one. On the day i couldnt prepare the lunch I always pray to ALLAH to give me food for lunch. As far as my memory can call, lunch was not an issue.Alhamdulillah
I even asking for 'weird stuff' and its really happened. Last summer I travelled to the library by train. One day on the way back (night time) I pray to Allah
"O Allah i been travelling in this train for quite a while now. But no girl wants to be my friend nor talk to me" Actually i just joking around at that time since the train is partly empty and i just want to entertain myself.
You know what happened next? About 30 seconds later two girls came to me to ask about Direction. I explained to them and we chatted a bit. Then one of them asked me one killer Question?
"Do you have a girlfriend?" i said " no"
" Can i Be your girlfriend?"
oh no. its really happened. my prayer is answered. but what was my answer? Of course i said no. They are just 9 year old girl!
Also last summer last summer when i take the train and walk to the centre from the train station i always said this " O Allah give me a car so that i can benefit this religion if it is good for me" Alhamdlillah I got a car now and alhamdulillah a good one.
So i'm asking all of you to pray to Allah to put barakah in my car so that i can learn the knowledge of Allah and do the da'wah.
Allah is always near. never feel lonely anymore (saying this to myself)
Before i end this, saya minta maaf kalau ada menyakitkan hati sesiapa sahaja ynag mengenali diri ini.

AMYN centre Library
Asalamualaykum,
AMYN centre islamic library. this was the project I been working out during my last summer holiday. Compromises of two separate sections for brothers and sisters, this library is one of its kind to offer islamic reading material to the public.
To setup this library was not an easy task. Since we had no experience at all, we just learning things by errors, Research, discussion and innovation (my first copyright for my ulul albab guide to AMYN library book). All of the hard work now need some push to put it on the starting line. Yeah the journey not ends yet, it's just started.
Along the way i met with many circumstances, learned lot of things, I gained respect and also humility, learned to be resistance to some weaknesses I had, and most of all i made friends and brotherhood. So many things i had last summer and i cant describe it with my plain english.

A da’eef Hadith which in it poses vital lessons
All thanks and praises are due to Allah, whom we thank, seek help and invoke for forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils within ourselves. He whom Allah guides will never be misled and he whom He misguides will never find one to guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is his slave and Messenger.
Allah says
“ O’ you who have believed, keep your duty to Allah and shield yourself from His wrath, and speak (always) the truth. He will direct you to do righteous good deeds and will forgive you your sins. And whosoever obeys Allah and His messenger (SAW), he has indeed achieved a great achievement” [al-Ahzab 70-71]
“Ask the people of knowledge if you know not” [an-Nahl 43]
“Follow not which you have no knowledge of…” [Al-isra’ 36]
Narrated by Jabir Bin ‘Abdullah that he said, “We went on a journey and man from amongst us was injured in the head by a stone. After this he had a wet dream. He asked his companions, ‘ do you find that I have concession for performing tayammum?’
They said, ‘We do not find any concession, for you are capable of employing water (for purification). So he bathed and as a result died. When we returned to the Prophet SAW he was informed of this upon which he said “They have killed him, May Allah kill them! Could they not have asked if they did not know? Indeed The cure of ignorance is to ask! It was sufficient for him to perform tayammum, sprinkle some water on the wound or put a bandage on his wound and then wipe over it , and wash the reminder of the body.[Sunan Aboo Dawood English translation 1/89 no.336]
[Da’eef]
This hadith is a da’eef hadith (da’eef isnaad) but is strengthen by another hadith narrated by Ibn Abbas reported in sunan ibn majah volume 1 hadith no.572 .
It was narrated that ‘Ata’ Bin Abu Rabah said : “ I heard Ibn Abbas saying that a man was injured in the head at the time of the Messenger of Allah (SAW), then he had a wet dream. He was told to take a bath, so he took the bath, become rigid and stiff, and died. News of that reached the Messenger of Allah (SAW) and he said : “They have killed him, May Allah kill them! Is not the cure for lack of knowledge to ask Questions? [Sahih part]
Ata’ said: “ we heard that the Messenger of Allah said: ‘If only he had washed his body and left his head alone where the wound was” [Da’eef part]
This raises the hadith to the level of Hassan. Thus this hadith is Hassan li ghairihi.
But the part “ sprinkle some water on the wound” remains da’eef. (For further reading - usool al-hadeeth : The methodology of hadith evaluation by Dr. Ameenah Bilal Philips pg.60-91)
Brothers and sisters,
In accordance with a fiqh principle:-
“Everything regarding ta’ubudiyyah (worshipping ) is not permissible (haram) unless there isenough evidence (from Quran and authentic sunnah) that permits it. Everything that Allah created is permissible (halal and mubah) unless there is enough evidence that prohibits it” [Halal wal Haram in Islam pg. 14]
Issuance of fatwa (Islamic verdict, what is halal and haram to do, is it permissible or not permissible etc) demands extreme caution. While issuing a ruling, it is one of the imperatives to give due consideration to the situation of the questioner.[ commentary sunan ibn majah]
If the question asked has no easy answer, it is best to avoid giving the answer, and advice the questioner to refer the matter to a higher authority on Islamic jurisprudence.[ commentary sunan ibn majah]
Issuing an opinion on Islamic matters is not an easy task. But some of us, may be because of our ignorant, easily utter these sentences when we were asked about our stand in certain Islamic issues
1)in my opinion
2)i believe that
3) From my understanding
I’m advising myself and you who read this to be very careful in this matter lest that our tongue will be held responsible in front of Allah on the day of Judgement.
Wallahu’alam

Tiada salahnya kita berkongsi, mana tahu kita boleh memberi inspirasi!!!
Kita mungkin pernah dengar ada kawan kita yang mendapat straight A dalam UPSR, kemudian dalam PMR pun straight A dan SPM pun begitu dan kita rasa hairan.
Jangan hairan dulu.
The most interesting part is everyone that is reading this note now has the key to unlock the booster, catalyst and etc.
Ya anda mempunyai kunci untuk memangkin perubahan. Kalau anda tidak sedar saya akan cakapa sekali lagi : ANDA MEMPUNYAI KUNCI UNTUK MEMANGKIN PERUBAHAN
Dalam diri anda mahupun dalam diri orang lain.
Kalau tak keberatan saya nak ceritakan satu kisah seorang pelajar.
Rakan-rakan,
Cerita ini cerita sebenar dan motif saya membawa cerita ni kerana saya yakin perlunya Kepada bekas pelajar SEMENDA melawat semenda dan memberi kata-kata semangat kepada junior-junior kita.
Mungkin ada orang kata
“ Aku bukan pelajar cemerlang, peperiksaan pun cukup makan , macam manalah nak suruh orang berubah payah la”
Wallahua’alam

Foundation for choosing an Islamic book part 2
I was thinking to write a long blog for this topic. But for unforeseen circumstances i will end this topic here.
......... First when discussing an islamic issue, a good book will first quote what Allah says in the Quran. Then what Rasulullah SAW said.then what's the opinion of sahabah (the companion of Rasulullah), then the opinion of those who learned from the sahabah (tabioon) ,Then the opinion of those who learned from tabioon (atba' tabieen), opinion of the Scholars (scholars of the 4 madzhab and scholars who came after them who follow the quran and sunnah), opinion of the contemporary scholar and then lastly your opinion (or the writer opinion).
Some skipping are still considered ok, but if the writer first emphasised his opinion first, please be careful.
That's it.I will be away for 3 month inshaAllah (unless there is an interesting issue) to do something for myself haha.
