Give to charity whenever you still have the penny

Assalamualaikum/ Gud day

You know how many facebook user in this world? HEAPS of them right?

anyone havent got 'a' facebook account yet?

You better get your hands at this stuff, i really meant it. Some people think if they have facebook they will easily get distracted by it. well every technology has its own advantages and disadvantages and it depends on the users how they going to use it.

However, if you can manipulate this technology into something useful, wouldnt that be excellent? Like one student association in Ireland, they use facebook to convey message about donation to build a mosque in chech republic and also donation for yogyakarta earthquake.

Sometimes technology does helps propagating something good. Even more, if you're a business minded person a charity such as above is like an investment. Remarkably it's an investment with a sure profit insyaAllah ( If in business case, a sure profit without any risk is haram ie bank divident with fixed interest).

some people think that they have to give or must give 100 or 50 dollar for charity. No you dont have to, but if you did May Allah bless you. even a dollar that's ok.

This is what Prophet SAW said in a hadith
Abu Mas`ud `Uqbah bin `Amr Al-Ansari (May Allah be pleased with him) said: When the Ayah enjoining Sadaqah (charity) was revealed,* we used to carry loads on our backs to earn something that we could give away in charity. One person presented a considerable amount for charity and the hypocrites said: "He has done it to show off.'' Another one gave away a few Sa` of dates and they said: "Allah does not stand in need of this person's dates". Thereupon, it was revealed:

"Those who defame such of the believers who give charity (in Allah's Cause) voluntarily, and such who could not find to give charity (in Allah's Cause) except what is available to them...'' (9:79)
[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

* This is the A°yah in which Allah says! "Take Sadaqah (alms) from their wealth in order to purify them and sanctify them with it, and suppliate Allah for them...'' (9:103)

Commentary: This Hadith shows that everyone can give charitable donation according to one's means. It can be more or less as one likes. To regard those as showy and criticize those who pay less to withhold them from alms amounts to hypocrisy. Believers must ignore such criticism of the hypocrites and refrain from such things in their dealings. "

Hence, it doesnt matter whether it's a dollar or even few cents.

let say in facebook there is 20million people, if everyone donated 1 dollar that would sum up to 20million dollar, isnt it?

To end this let us reflect what The prophet SAW said in a hadith.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "Hasten to do good deeds before you are overtaken by one of the seven afflictions.'' Then (giving a warning) he said, "Are you waiting for such poverty which will make you unmindful of devotion; or prosperity which will make you corrupt, or disease as will disable you, or such senility as will make you mentally unstable, or sudden death, or Ad-Dajjal who is the worst expected absent, or the Hour, and the Hour will be most grievous and most bitter".
[At-Tirmidhi].

Commentary: The purpose of this Hadith is that before overcoming of the obstructions, one should do one's best to improve his Hereafter by means of good deeds lest one is deprived of good deeds by some obstruction.

Ps- give to charity whenever you still have the penny.

everything is not happens without a reason

I have been in this world approximately 20 years and 5 months, and through those years there surely lots stories about trials and tribulations that i've experienced. nevertheless, when trial came, the situation seems to be the same. I'm lack of confident and feel frustrated. But alhamdulillah after a while the frustrations do ease.we are still His slave anyway and what ever turmoil that happens whether whether we like or not, He (Allah ) is the only one knows it best.it's like the parable of a child who get mad when his parents prohobit him from swimming at the river.what the child perceives is different from his parents.

Yesterday "english teacher" replied to my status (the one with thalassemia topic), she wrote an admirable sentence that i'm stunted by it.

"Allah jadikan sesuatu bukan utk bebankan kite"(whatever Allah decrees is not to burden us)

thanks "english teacher" for your thought

to end this, let's reflect on what Allah said in the Quran

".....and whosoever fears Allah and keep his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And he will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him.... [65:2,3]

(And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him.)

Imam Ahmad recorded that Ibn `Abbas said that he rode the Prophet's camel while sitting behind the Prophet , and the Messenger of Allah said to him,

(O boy! I will teach you words [so learn them]. Be mindful of Allah and He will protect you, be mindful of Allah and He will be on your side. If you ask, ask Allah, and if you seek help, seek it from Allah. Know that if the Ummah gather their strength to bring you benefit, they will never bring you benefit, except that which Allah has decreed for you. Know that if they gather their strength to harm you, they will never harm you, except with that which Allah has decreed against you. The pens have been raised and the pages are dry.) At-Tirmidhi collected this Hadith and said: "Hasan Sahih.''

[tafsir Ibn katsir]

Let's pray to Allah

Abdullah bin ibn Mass'ud R.A reported that the Prophet SAW used to say "Allahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal 'afafa wal ghina(O Allah I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency)" [Muslim]

When disease affects you

Today I have been suspected of carrying Thalassemia gene. honestly, i know nothing about this gene disease. Dr Lawson, doctor who treated me gave me some introductions on the disease and she also provides me with some useful websites for my own research.

As I went through and did the research, i was quite suprised on the fact that this disease will totally chage my life. The doctor did ask me whether am i getting or planning to get married. She has her point when she said that.

No man in this world not planning for his big day. I also have some plans and now i need to change that plans. I'm not mad to Allah because of this gene defect,But i just lost Hope on how i'm going to start over again and plan once again.

I just lost reliance on how my future would be.

But as I Going through The riyadusalihin, i found one enchanting hadith that insyaAllah addresses my worries.

Umar R.A said :I heard Messenger of Allah SAW saying: " if All depend on ALLAH with all due reliance, He would certainly give you provision as He gives it to the birds who go forth hungry in the morning and return with full belly at dusk" [At-tirmidhi]

What an inspirational thought from this hadith. InsyaAllah form right now i will be like the bird who put reliance on Allah, the One who give the bird provision. The bird did work by flying from nest but what happen after that, whether or not it get any food is fully rely on Allah.

So as muslim we plan and work the plan and after that put your full reliance to Allah
insyaAllah

patient And reliance to Allah

Bismillah

Do you ever experience when there is a time when you are totally depressed? you think no one ever care about you , like no body wants to hear your cry, no one to lean on. Even in that time your iman(faith) to Allah is decreasing. Your full reliance to Allah fade because of that depression.

Have you ever experience this? havent you?

i did. not once, not twice but many, many times.
you prayed to Allah but there is like no answer to your prayer.

Dear readers,

when calamity befalls you remember that Allah cares

"O you who believe! endure and be more patient" [3:200]

Because Allah has warn you beforehand

" And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear,Hunger, loss of wealth, lives, fruit"

But Allah do rewards those who are the patient

"But give glad tidings to as-sabirun (the patient)" [2:155]

Dear readers,
Sometime thrugh my experience, when i'm depressed it's easy to do salah and ask du'a(prayer)to Allah. It's like Allah is the one whom i can rely on during that harsh time.

as Allah said
" Seek help in patient and as-salat. truly Allah is with as-sabirun" [47:31]

be the patient whenever calamities befall you as this Also will wipe out our sins

As Prophet SAW said in a hadith narrated by ibnu mas'ud r.a (I shortened it a bit)
" ........No muslim is afflicted by a harm, be it the pricking of a torn or something more than that, But Allah thereby causes his sins to fall away just as a tree shed its leaves" [Al-bukhari and Muslim]

So be patient in any situation.Allah is Always there to help you out. fully rely on Him insyaAllah
