misri

Bismillah....

After Tunisia, now Egypt. Citizens who being oppressed now try to force the president to step down. The revolt in Egypt is immediate response to successful tunisia's revolt. I heard various scholarly opinion with regards to revolting against Islamic ruler. But i'm not going to write about what's wrong and what's right because i'm in no position to do that. I leave this Matter to Allah and the muslims scholars to educate people on this issue.

I hope my friends in Egypt are safe. I pray to Allah to protect them from every evil.
Abu omar and family just left Oz for good to egypt. I hope him and his family is all good inshaAllah.

meeting

Bismillah,

flood that hits brisbane 2 weeks ago account for tremendous lost.Help in term of physical, psychological and financial keep coming to ease those who are in need.

On the other parts of the story, International community mostly students are also affected by the flood. Most of them lost everything after their house was submerged in the muddy water overflowing from the brisbane river. As not so fortunate of their Oz friends, they are struggling to get back to their normal life without any financial help. Just imagine in split seconds everything gone and these people, some may get scholarship from their government but the amount they get is really insignificant to the damage that has been done.

Some country even refuse to help their own citizen in Austalia who affected by flood. The government thinks that the international office in respective uni should be a point of contact for these students. With a crisis like this when help is needed but none willing to help, not even their own country, community is the last resort for them.

Alhamdulillah, the spirit of community without basing of what religion you are, which nationality and so and so spurred in the midst of this unfortunate crisis.

Today ismail and I had a meeting with one of the Australia member of parliament Mr Ste**** (I dont want search engine to find this page). We conveyed our full gratitude to him who willing to spend some time to sit and hear our plight. The meeting went well as Ismail (representative from AMYN) explained to MR MP about how unfortunate a non-australian who affected by flood need to endure without any financial support from anyone.

Alhamdulillah at the end, the MP willing to forward our email to QLD premier a*** b**** for her further action.

I do pray that the government can intervene and help those who are in need.

wasalamualaykum

IWAQ

Bismillah

Islamic Women Association of QLD (IWAQ)name keeps lingering in my mind for the past few days.Alhamdulillah thanks to them, i had a chance to eat nandos for two consecutive days. Although my houee is not affected, as a person who manage, i somehow in charge to know the condition of the flood victims. Till sunday, inshaAllah Iwaq will be sponsoring nondos.Jazakumullahukhairan to IWAQ and nandos who kindly help us sponsoring the food.

Before IWAQ, Bro Musaab and family had continuously providing food for us while we at the relief centre. Only Allah can repay their kindness and place them in jannah tul firdaus.
